Open source - beta now live
Your AI exoskeleton.
BehalfBot runs your business, your health, your engineering ops, your inbox - while you keep doing the work only you can do. You at the wheel. The agent handles the propulsion.
Or run the wizard interview to have your install profile generated for you - free, no credit card.
You are overloaded.
If you're a solopreneur or even a busy employee, you're running too many surfaces at once. Customer support email piles up while you're trying to ship features. The content calendar slips because the inbox got loud. The blog post you started last month is still sitting in drafts. You wanted to be a builder. You've become a project manager treading water.
Most days you're behind. The thing you wanted to ship this week is queued behind three things you didn't want to do this week. The proactive work that actually moves the needle keeps getting pushed under a ceaseless tide of admin.
There is a better way.
Picture an exoskeleton. One of those robot suits from Avatar or Alien that amplifies your own movements and extends your capabilities. You operate the joystick - approvals, decisions, the calls only you can make - and the agent runs in the background 24/7.
Customer support drafts ready for your review every morning. Content stubs proposed from URLs you forwarded. Tickets handled against any repo you authorize. Health metrics tracked. Briefings written. Calendar managed.
You stop feeling behind because the agent is on top of what needs to be done. You're fielding critical decisions and approving work that's already complete.
Introducing Behalf.bot.
The exact AI assistant Sean has been running for himself for the last several months, distilled into a transferable product - and as of 2026-06-01, fully open-source under the O'Saasy License.
This whole journey started because he was frustrated with OpenClaw and gave up on it. Before completely abandoning the vision of a truly capable AI assistant, he tried using Claude Code itself as the harness instead and hacking features onto it. Fast forward and he's built something at least 10x more capable than OpenClaw. It runs every aspect of his life right now. Production data. 24/7 operation. Live support. Real money.
BehalfBot is that chassis, packaged so you can install it on yours. Source at scrollinondubs/behalfbot.
A non-exhaustive list of what it does for Sean right now.
As you read this, every system below is running in production against real data. None of it is theoretical.
Customer support and billing
Drafts replies overnight against the tone and policies you set. Surfaces escalations. Reconciles billing edge cases.
Health and habits
Tracks macros and workouts via meal photos and a hand-written journal. Reconciles with Strava, Oura, and whatever else you wear.
Infrastructure monitoring
Watches your cloud surfaces (Google Cloud, Vercel, n8n, and a dozen others) on a heartbeat. Alerts only when something needs you.
Daily morning briefing
A custom feed assembled from your calendar, inboxes, repos, and reading list. Everything you need to start the day, none of the noise.
Pacman skill ingestion
Feed it a URL or a GitHub project. It digests the content, evaluates fit, and proposes new capabilities for itself - extending what it can do, gated on your approval.
Code review and shipping
Reviews GitHub PRs against any repo you authorize. Ships fixes against your existing branches. Tests, commits, opens PRs for your review.
Content workshopping
Turns notes and voice memos into blog stub drafts in your voice. Drafts the social media promotion to go with them.
Multi-modal surfaces
Ingests from your reMarkable tablet, voice notes, and Loom recordings. Books indexed for semantic search. Briefings drafted. Complex app behavior modifications explained verbally. Natural language goes in, work product comes out.
Integrated with your Second Brain
Integrates with the top PKM's like Notion, Obsidian and SiYuan for reading and writing structured markdown data. Uses Memory MCP for short-term context persistence and your PKM system for long-term persistence.
Midnight Oil
Ships features while you sleep. A queued backlog of pre-approved work executes overnight; you wake up to PRs ready to merge.
See it in action.
Sean's May 19, 2026 talk unveiling Behalf.bot at Vibecode Lisboa - walks through the architecture, the live install on his own systems, and a Q&A on what the chassis can do.
Two ways to get it running.
Same chassis underneath both. Pick the one that matches how much time you want to spend at the terminal.
Self-install
Clone the chassis from GitHub, populate your install-profile.md + chassis.config.yaml, run the bootstrap. Two ways to populate those files:
Managed install
Sean drives the install end-to-end over SSH. From cold host to first heartbeat fire in 60-120 min. No terminal time on your side beyond the initial homework.
- ✓Maintainer-driven SSH install
- ✓Beta Discord channel access (Q&A with maintainer + early installers)
- ✓Grandfathered pricing lock - if we raise the price later, your future installs stay at €250
- ✓€250 credit toward Vibecode Lisboa Build School Cohort 5 if you apply + are accepted
Early-bird beta cohort
Both paths produce the same install - same chassis underneath. Self-install gives you full control over the timeline + cost. Managed install gives you a maintainer who drives the bootstrap and stays available post-install for questions.

Built by Sean, in Lisbon.
Sean has given 50+ talks, been featured in Wired, Inc, TechCrunch and many other publications, and has built at least a dozen applications using these exact AI tools. He's been teaching non-technical founders to code via Vibecode Lisboa for over a year, with 800+ members in the Meetup.
BehalfBot started as Sean's personal assistant. After a few months of dogfooding, his students started asking how to install it for themselves. The answer is this product.
Common questions.
Is the chassis really open-source?+
Yes. Source at github.com/scrollinondubs/behalfbot under the O'Saasy License (MIT-shaped with light attribution). Clone it, modify it, ship it. No keys required, no behalf.bot account needed - signup only matters if you want the wizard to generate your install bundle for you, or you want the managed-install path.
Is this just another wrapper on top of an LLM?+
No. BehalfBot is a long-running agentic harness with its own memory layer, scheduled-task system, ops dashboards, audit trails, and skill-extension pipeline. The LLM is one component. The infrastructure that lets the agent operate continuously and safely against your real surfaces is the rest of it.
What does it cost to run?+
Sean's all-in spend on the third-party APIs the agent uses (Anthropic, OpenAI, Notion, etc.) is around $120/month. The chassis itself is free - the only line item from us is the optional one-time €250 managed install fee. No subscription. No per-seat charge.
Where does my data live?+
On infrastructure you control. The agent runs on your host (Linux server, Mac, or VPS); your second brain lives in your Notion / Obsidian / SiYuan; your secrets in your password manager. Nothing phones home to behalf.bot. You see every prompt, every tool call, every decision in your local logs. Full audit trail.
What can it actually decide on its own?+
Whatever you authorize, and nothing more. The default install ships with a tight allowlist - read everything, approve before writing, never spend money, never send external email without explicit confirmation. You expand the autonomy envelope as you build trust.
What's grandfathered pricing?+
Early managed-install customers (the first beta cohort) get the €250 rate locked in. If we raise the price later, your future installs on the same primary email stay at €250. Also: if you apply to and are accepted into Vibecode Lisboa's Build School Cohort 5 (or any cohort), the €250 you paid for your install applies as a credit toward tuition.
Can I host it for someone else?+
Hosting a single Behalf.bot install for one person or team you support directly is fine - that's how the managed-install path works, and that's what the license permits. What the O'Saasy license reserves for the original maintainer (Vibecode Lisboa) is the right to offer Behalf.bot as a hosted, managed, or Software-as-a-Service product to third parties where the chassis itself is the value being sold. Those commercial-SaaS rights stay with us, with no time limit. If you're thinking of running a Behalf.bot-as-a-Service business on top of the chassis, talk to us first - the SaaS opportunity here isn't open by default.
